Principal Consultant
I'm Rowan Bex. For fifteen years I led operations and strategy inside venture-backed startups, twice as COO. Now I work independently with a handful of founders at a time, because the best work happens when the person you hire is the person doing the work. My engagements are practical and time-boxed: we find the constraint, agree on what matters, and I stay in the room until the changes hold.

FAQ
How do engagements usually start?
With a free 30-minute intro call. If it's a fit, I'll send a short proposal with scope, timeline and a fixed fee — no open-ended retainers.
Do you work remotely?
Yes. Most of my work is remote, with the occasional on-site week for kickoffs and workshops when it helps.
How many clients do you take at once?
Three or four, deliberately. It's the only way to stay genuinely hands-on rather than just advisory.
